Caribou is coming back to Vicar Street. The Canadian composer, otherwise Dan Snaith, will return to play Dublin venue on January 19, 2022. Marking the first Caribou show there since 2014 (and what a show it was), it comes a few months ahead of a date at Iveagh Gardens in the summer of 2022. Tickets go on sale on Friday (July 2nd) at 9am.

Low are coming back to Dublin next year. As part of a new world tour, the Duluth, Minnesota indie rock band will play Vicar Street on April 26, 2021. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 25th at 10am. Accompanying the news is details of the band’s thirteenth studio album. Titled Hey What, it will be released via Sub Pop on September 10th. As part of a European tour that takes him via a sold-out show Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie and beyond, Glen Hansard will stop off at Dublin’s Vicar Street for a brace of shows in April. The Dublin songwriter, The Frames’ founder member, actor and activist – who released his third studio album, Between Two Shores, back in January – will play the Thomas House venue on April 9 and 10. Hansard has previously played the venue in a solo guise fourteen times. Tickets for both shows are priced at €35.00 and go on sale this Friday at 9am.

Unquestionably one of the finest folk voices in Ireland, Cavan native Lisa O’Neill, has announced details of her fourth album, Heard A Long Gone Song. Following a sellout show at Quiet Lights Festival in Cork & ahead of upcoming dates in the UK, New Zealand and beyond, the album will come out on October 19, and will be her first release on Rough Trade imprint River Lea Records.
