  • Sigrid Revealed as First Indiependence 2020 Headliner

    Sigrid has been announced as the first headliner for next year’s Indiependence festival. The Norwegian pop sensation, born Sigrid Solbakk Raabe, will top the bill on one of the days of next year’s three-year event,  which returns to Mitchelstown in Co. Cork across July 31-August 2 2020. Weekend tickets for the festival are on sale now, priced 149.00 for 3 Day Camping and 189.00 for 3 Day Camping (VIP).

    Featuring multiple stages across its tree-lined, 52 acre site, Indiependence Music & Arts Festival returns to Mitchelstown’s Deer Farm from July 31 to August 2.     Cork’s major entry on the national festival calendar (and therefore the most important), Indiependence has established itself as one of the major festivals of the summer, typically by serving up diverse, quality line-ups in a relatively intimate setting, limiting admissions to 5,000, amid the fields of Deer Farm in Mitchelstown, the festival’s home since moving out from the town square way back (early iterations of the festival featured headline sets from Coolio and Dannii Minogue, among others, before it truly hit its stride as a camping weekender).     Several new acts have been added to the bill for this year’s Indiependence festival, which is set to return to Deer Farm in Mitchelstown, Cork, across the weekend of July 31 to August 2. With the likes of the Mark Lanegan Band, Ash and Jape already confirmed, Basement Jaxx, Kodaline, Hamsandwich, Foy Vance, The Young Folk and Elastic Sleep (pictured) are amongst the latest additions.
