In the info section of Helena Hauff’s downright blistering Boiler Room x Dekmantel Festival DJ set from last September (see below) BR reckoned Hauff was “quite possibly the most exciting DJ in the world right now.” Two months later, Crack magazine went one further and officially crowned Hauff as the Most Exciting DJ in The World (Right Now). It served as an emphatic stamp of approval for a trailblazer whose knowledge and talent has set her apart on stages across the world over the last couple of years. Not merely one of the very best techno DJs around, but one who can traverse old and new style acid, minimal wave, electro, darkwave, industrial and more like no other, we’d put good money on Hauff permanently compromising the structural integrity of Belfast’s S13 Warehouse come early June.
