• Getting To Know: Oh Volcano @ Oh Yeah Centre

    The next installment of Getting To Know… at Belfast’s Oh Yeah Centre on Thursday, September 11 will see new-fangled electro-pop duo Oh Volcano perform and discuss their craft in front of an intimate audience. The pair, comprised of ex-General Fiasco members Owen and Enda Strathern, played their debut headline show in Belfast just last month. To date they have released two singles, ‘Oceans’ and ‘See No Evil’. Doors for the Getting To Know… session at the Oh Yeah Centre are at 8pm and admission is free.     Ahead of their debut headline show at Belfast’s Voodoo on Saturday night (August 2), Belfast-based band Oh Volcano have unveiled their second single, ‘See No Evil’. Maintaining their tight-lipped presence thus far, the video – featuring stock footage and some nifty editing – was created by Edward Butler. The band, comprised of ex-General Fiasco members/brothers Owen and Enda Strathern released their debut single, ‘Oceans’, back in February. Watch the video below.

    General Fiasco brothers Owen and Enda Strathern have unveiled their debut track as Oh Volcano, titled ‘Oceans’. Marking a decidedly more progressive and electronic direction, the track is accompanied by a video directed by local musician and filmmaker Edward Butler. General Fiasco announced a hiatus in early 2013 but have played a few gigs with Duke Special and a one-off small gig in Belfast. Check out the video for the ‘Oceans’ below.
