Since 2009, Dublin hub A4 has went above and beyond in their mission to transform the means by which cultural works are produced, accessed, and understood in Ireland. Their latest initiative – a new bi-monthly gig night – is one that we’re fully behind.
Curated by Matt Hedigan, an artist and member of Hands Up Who Wants To Die, No Spill Blood and Elk, the next installment of the series unites two of our very favourite fast-rising bands from Dublin on Friday, April 5th: Silverbacks and Extravision It’s BYOB and runs from 8-11pm.

“We hope to build partnerships with Irish Musicians, where we can support each other’s work. A4 is a Not for Profit Socially Engaged Organisation, we aim to support Irish Artists professionally in whatever capacity we can by; providing studio space, access to facilities, training opportunities, employment opportunities and exhibition opportunities.
Our curated programme is not funded so we need to raise funds as best we can. We feel that curating gigs every 2 months may provide us with an income stream that we can reinvest into the studio to help us our support artists, whilst also allowing us to promote Irish music and provide a fair income for musicians.”
