Boston alt-rock legends Pixies are set to make their Irish return. Having recently played shows in Dublin and Belfast, the seminal, Black Francis-fronted quartet will return next summer to play the Big Top at Galway Arts Festival on July 17th and Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens on July 18th. Tickets, which go on sale at 9am this Friday, are priced €52.50 and €59.50 respectively.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will play Dublin next year. Taking place as part of a wider Spring European and UK tour, the band will play Dublin’s 3 Arena on Friday, May 8 2020. Dan Snaith aka Caribou is set to make his Irish return next year. Doubling up as the first announcement for the series next summer, the Canadian artist will play Iveagh Gardens on Saturday, July 11th. It’s the penultimate date in a string of 2020 dates for Caribou. Ambient duo A Winged Victory for the Sullen are set for Irish dates next year. Dustin O’Halloran and Adam Wiltzie (also of Stars of the Lid) will play Dublin’s National Concert Hall on March 3rd and Belfast’s St. Rosemary Chuch on March 4th. Heavy metal legends Iron Maiden are set for a Belfast return. Having last played the city in August last year as part of their Legacy of the Beast tour, the Bruce Dickinson-fronted band will play Belfast’s Ormeau Park as part of Belsonic 2020 on Monday, June 15th. Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer are set to team up for a show in Dublin next summer. Taking place as part of their global “Hella Mega” stadium tour, the bands will play RDS Arena on June 29th, 2020. Tickets cost €79.50 and go on sale on Friday, September 20 at 10am. Jon Hopkins will play Dublin as part of his Polarity tour 2020.
