Sigrid has been announced as the first headliner for next year’s Indiependence festival. The Norwegian pop sensation, born Sigrid Solbakk Raabe, will top the bill on one of the days of next year’s three-year event, which returns to Mitchelstown in Co. Cork across July 31-August 2 2020. Returning for its sixth edition from February 6-9th, the music and performing arts festival have revealed some of the acts who’ll be making an appearance at various venues across the city. Initial details of Other Voices return to Dingle have been announced. Set for its 18th outing, the much-loved Irish music institution will take over the Kerry port town across November 29 to December 1. As well as teaming up with Dingle Gin as the partner for the Music Trail – a dynamic series of gigs at venues across the town throughout the weekend – organisers have also revealed that the distinct ideas steam with OV, Ireland’s Edge, will take place across November 29-30. As well as announcing it its return to Curraghmore Estate in County Waterford across July 31-August 3 next year, organisers of All Together Now have offered an official apology regarding the traffic issues that beset this year’s outing for many.
