    Just over a year since the release of their stellar second album Fossils, Belfast-based indie rock band Seven Summits have unveiled their ridiculously infectious new single ‘Little Twist’ – and we have an exclusive first look at the video. Directed by the band’s guitarist and keyboardist Dominic Coyle, the black and white video features, among other things, some of the most hypnotising slow-motion flapping of the lips that has ever been committed to film.   • Exclusive video: Robyn G Shiels – Underneath the Night of Stars

    Huge fans of his work, we have an exclusive first look at the new video for the stellar ‘Underneath the Night of Stars’ by Belfast-based singer-songwriter Robyn G Shiels. Directed by LUMO, the animated video, with its initially wistful but eventually rather dark culmination, serves as a perfect accompaniment to the song, the title track taken from Shiels’ most recent EP.   • Stream: Hunk – Precipice

    Dublin lo-fi rock duo Sundara O’Higgins and Niamh Hegarty AKA Hunk have unveiled a brand new track, ‘Precipice’. Taken from their forthcoming debut EP, Fledgling – set for release on November 22 – the track is a wonderfully fully-formed effort with swathes of nocturnal noise, slightly off-kilter harmonies and a general air of Grass Widow about it (far from a bad thing in our book).     Currently on the road with Jimmy Eat World, Little Matador have unveiled a live video of their single ‘Liar Liar’ and an accompanying interview.   • EP Stream: Boxcutter – Gnosis

    Northern Irish electronic producer Barry Lynn AKA Boxcutter has unveiled a stream of his forthcoming new EP, Gnosis. A five-track release “of 160bpm excursions into new territory”, the EP is Lynn’s first appearance on Cosmic Bridge, the release itself curated by label boss Om Unit.     On Wednesday, November 13, we will be holding a special Belfast Music Week listening party of Infernal Love, the landmark third album by Northern Irish alt-rock heroes Therapy?. Originally released in June 1995, the eleven-track release – featuring singles including ‘Stories’, ‘Loose’ and ‘Diane’ – it was the final album to feature the original line-up of Cairns, McKeegan and Ewing and is considered by many to be the band’s true masterstroke.   • Watch: Deadlights – Glass Houses

    Lisburn alt-rock four-piece Deadlights have unveiled the video to their new single, ‘Glass Houses’. Directed by Tommy Keery of Dog Kennel Productions, the video features the band playing in what appears to be a disused warehouse, flashing lights becoming an increasing feature as the song progresses.
