    Our second video exclusive from a Northern Irish duo this week comes courtesy of Derry singer-songwriter two-piece Ben Robinson and Adam Montgomery AKA Sullivan & Gold and their heartfelt cover of Reuben’s ‘Nobody Loves You’.   • Watch: Fight Like Apes – Crouching Bees

    With their forthcoming new EP, the altogether interestingly-titled Whigfield Sextape set for release on May 12, Dublin electro-pop four-piece Fight Like Apes have unveiled the video to their  new single, ‘Crouching Bees’. Directed by Grey Sun, the video shadows a disenchanted and onesied urban flâneur on a bicycle-based, sea-sprayed mystical adventure featuring the band’s frontwoman May Kay.   • Watch: Deadlights – Passenger

    Four months after the release of the stellar ‘Glass Houses’, Lisburn alt-rock band Deadlights have unveiled the video for their new single, ‘Passenger’. Created by Tommy Keery of Dog Kennel Productions, the video, which features the band performing the track, is inter-cut with a story that holds no bars in conveying the harsh reality of abduction. The single, mastered by the masterful Jon Moorehead, was recorded by Mike Mormecha of Mojo Fury at Millbank Studios. Watch the video below.

    Taken from his album Béton, Northern Irish singer-songwriter Peter McAuley AKA RAMS’ Pocket Radio has released the subtly sublime video for his new single, ‘Love Is A Bitter Thing’.     Featuring his good friend Kev Jones from alt-punk band Empty Lungs, Belfast-based hip hop artist Brendan Seamus AKA BeeMickSee has unveiled the video for his new single, ‘Awkward’. Directed by Lauren Dusty McLune, the video – also featuring Seamus – is nicely edited together Sarah McGlinchey. The single itself is taken from BeeMickSee’s forthcoming album, The Belfast Yank, which features co-production from Rocky O’Reilly.   • Watch: The Wood Burning Savages – America

    Having becoming highly evolved over the last couple of months, Derry alt-rock quartet The Wood Burning Savages have unveiled their first music video, for their single ‘America’. Shot on zero budget and featuring some masterfully-compiled stock footage, the video was created and edited by Chris McAlinden. Additional footage was supplied by Fiachra O’ Longain and Lisa Byrne.   • Watch: Little Matador – Stitch Yourself Up

    Having had an extremely encouraging first year together, alt-rock band Little Matador have unveiled the video for their debut single, ‘Stitch Yourself Up’ A self-proclaimed “earth-quaking stomp full of swagger and intent; dripping aggression, danger and sex in equal measure” the video features the band’s frontman, Nathan Connolly, getting a little more than he bargained for. ‘Stitch Yourself Up’ will feature on the band’s forthcoming self-titled debut album, set for release on April 21.     Featuring visuals by Brendan Canty of Feel Good Lost, Cork alt-rock four-piece The Shaker Hymn have unveiled the video to their new psych-tinged single, ‘The Runaway’. The second single to be lifted from their forthcoming debut album – the altogether curiously-titled Rascal’s Antique’s – the song was mixed alongside the album’s other nine tracks by Christian Best, who has worked with Mick Flannery and O Emperor. Vividly capturing a sense of everyday paralysis and unspoken interpersonal deliberation – much like the videos for Feet For Wings‘ ‘Cathedral St.’ and Kodaline’s ‘All I Want’ – the video features a cameo from the duo’s fellow Smalltown America-signed songsmith, Our Krypton Son. ‘Glory’ is the second single taken from Sullivan & Gold’s hugely promising debut album, For Foes.     Set to play our new gig/club night, No Tomorrow, on May 3, Dublin indie rock duo We Cut Corners have revealed the beautifully animated video for their single, ‘Best Friend’. Following on from the release of ‘YKK’ and ‘Every Thief’, the track is taken from the band’s forthcoming second album, Think Nothing.  The video for the single was created by Kijeki/Adamski.
